The charity night on Wednesday in aid of South Ayrshire Dementia Support Group was a great success,  with over £430 raised on the night.

Congratulations to Stevie Todd, Helen Kyle, and Colin Carmichael who won the mixed triples Buchanan Trophy yesterday. Glorious day and excellent bowling.

This coming Wednesday is the date of our Charity Night. This is traditionally one of our best attended events of the year. The weather forecast is good, the green is in great condition, so be there or be square! The nominated charity this year is the South Ayrshire Dementia Support Group, so cone along, and bring friends and neighbours. Come along at 6:00pm and enjoy the fun!

Thanks to almost £9k funding from the Big Lottery, Howie are working in conjunction with Prestwick Bowling Club to introduce the game of bowls to primary school children in the Prestwick area. The hunt is on for our next Paul/ Paula Foster!

Howie are delighted to welcome around 20 children from Monkton Primary School tomorrow (24th May) for their second session of a 5 week introductory course in lawn bowling.

Tomorrow is the Howie inaugural Wappenshaw. Turn up at around 6:15 for the draw. Only £3.00!!!!

Howie Bowling Club is holding an open evening for our own members, and also for any people interested in trying bowls for the first time.  A warm welcome is also extended to bowlers from other clubs.

Our next open evening is WEDNESDAY 11th MAY at 6:30 PM.  Game is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm, so come along around 6:15.  See you there!!!!!
