A correction to our previous post. The Whappenshaw fun game starts at 11:30 this Saturday (26th November) at the Ambassador Indoor Bowling Club. Please be there by 11:15 to be included in the draw. Remember, this event is open to non members, so why not bring a friend along?

TV Bowls Events
The Scottish Open starts next week with extensive coverage on BBC 2 Scotland. There is also the intriguing format of Premier Threes airing on Eurosport, a fast action singles competition with three bowls per player, three games per set, and best of three sets for the match.
Coaching for Children
Prestwick Ambassador Indoor Bowling Club offer coaching for children. Beginners can get an introduction to the game on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 pm, and there is also a Junior club which meets on Sunday mornings and Tuesday nights. Finals weekend
The Gents Championship will be held on Saturday starting at 2:00 pm. It features Stevie Todd against defending champion Vic Crockford. On Sunday the there are two mouthwatering finals. The Presidents Cup features Brian Rowan against Tom McMoneagle and the Senior Singles has Vic Crockford meeting Tom Howson. Both ties begin at two o’clock.
Championship Final
The final of the Gents Championship will commence this Saturday at 2:00 pm. It features an intriguing clash between defending champion Vic Crockford and two time past champion and self styled “people’s champion”, Stevie Todd. Come along and support the players!
